Harper - 11 Week Old Dachshund X (Trial)

Harper is a 9 week old small to medium mixed breed dog. She is a small Dachshund-like brindle coloured little pup, who loves playing with her big foster brother, as well as her chew and soft toys.

Harper is currently living on a farm in the Hunter Valley with horses, alpacas and chooks, discovering the world with loads of curiosity and greeting all visitors with enthusiasm (she is not shy). She loves playing in water, follows her foster mum everywhere, is great in the car and farm vehicle and learning to wait patiently during feed times.

Harper is making great progress with toilet training, is easy to walk on lead and while being crate trained, she’d much prefer to sleep next to her new owner and follow him/her on all their adventures.

Harper's new family would ideally have older children and a young doggy playmate or older tolerant dog. They would have to be home more often than not, as she will pine if left alone too long.

Harper has 6 siblings - Chief, Tonka, Sarg, Bear, Peyton and Pretty Lady that are also available for adoption.

Adoption fee is $700 which includes desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.

They are in foster care in Hunter Valley, NSW. Since not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when 5 to 6 months old.
