About Sarg - 9 Week Old Mixed Breed (Trial)
Sarg is a 9 week old mixed breed pup. This lively little dude has a big personality, loving to play and then have cuddles when he needs a recharge! He has the biggest brown puppy dog eyes that will melt you every single time.
Sargy loves to play tug-of-war with his rope and chasing around his friends. He is a big fan of affection and snuggling up for a nap and tummy scratches. He has a fun nature and will be a wonderful family pet.
Despite his Wolfhound/Staffy mum, Chief has the cutest short legs! He will most likely grow up to be a smaller medium sized dog. Don’t be fooled by his looks, he plays like a Staffy!
Sarg has been well socialised with his older fur-siblings and young children, who he loves playing with. He has been sleeping like a champion in his crate and doing well with his house-training. Sarg will require continued socialisation, affection and exercise to stay happy, as well as consistent training. We always recommend puppy-school to give your new family member the best start in life.
Sarg would love a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate. If you don't have another dog for company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Sarg need to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 5 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. They can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Sarg has 6 siblings - Tonka, Chief, Bear, Pretty lady, Peyton and Harper that are also available for adoption.
Sarg’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Sarg is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
