Play, play, play and more play!
Peony Babbington is a very pretty, friendly and confident young cat.
She is sweet, gentle and cuddly. She loves human interaction and after
snoozing on a lap, at night she loves to snuggle with her foster carer's
son on his bed, throughout the night.
Peony loves to play and is cat friendly. She currently lives with two
other cats, and they get along well. She loves other cats and is so
enthusiastic for play that she can let her enthusiasm take over,
therefore, she should be introduced slowly, rather than deter the other
cat with her enthusiasm. Peony has her favourite toy which can be found
all around the home in different spots. She proudly carries it in her
mouth, which is very cute.
Initially, she sees her brush as a toy and tries to play a game with it,
however, once she realises her brush isn't a toy and she lets her carer
get on with it, Peony loves to be brushed and will happily take all the
pampering she can get. She loves her dinner time and leads her foster
career towards the bowl when the time is right.
In her enthusiasm for play, Peony can tend to be gently nippy,
therefore, young children would not be recommended in her forever home.
Peony has been dealt a hard blow in life. She is FIV+, which unjustly
creates stigma for cats with the condition. Peony can share her home
with another FIV+ cat or with another FIV- cat, provided they get along
and do not bite or scratch each other. FIV cannot be passed to humans.
Peony is litter trained.
Peony will be a fabulous addition to any family wanting cuddles and fun.
Peony cannot wait; how about you?

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
