About Jack
Foster or forever home needed for Jack.
Jack is being rehomed at no fault of his own. His elderly owner bumped into some health issues and unfortunately was no longer able to give him the care he needs.
Prior to coming into care Jack didn't get the opportunities to meet lots of other people, kids or other animals, so because of this he can be a bit unsure to begin with.
If Jack is unsure he will growl to let you know that he would just like some space. He'll need an understanding new home that will allow him the time he needs to adjust to all the new things and people.
Since arriving into care Jack has got to experience the joys of beach walks. He has a new joy of running and splashing in the water with his foster siblings.
Jack is a cuddly boy who loves snuggling with his foster mum, in a comfy bed or with one of his foster dog siblings.
Jack walks well on lead and knows basic commands. Although he may not respond during his settling in period while he is learning to trust.
Jack would suit a home with another doggy sibling, or as an only dog as long as he got to enjoy going on adventures with his human.
Hes also in foster care with cats, and could happily live with a calm kitty.
Jack is in foster care with kids, but can be a bit nippy, so would best suit a home with kids older than 12.
We believe the nipping is due to a mixture of herding behaviours, as well as him not being exposed to children prior to coming into care.
Being a young Jack Russell, Jack does have quite alot of energy. This means he'll need an active home, and someone with experience with the breed.
