Well, here he is! An 8-year-old Jack Russell x Dachshund with a heart full of love.
While not a fan of feline friends, Romeo is selective with his canine companions and thrives with a patient owner. This charming fellow battles separation anxiety, requiring someone who is home often and willing to provide ongoing training support. Romeo's loyalty shines as he sticks close to his person, demonstrating a protective side that warrants a patient introduction to new faces, especially males. As Romeo blossoms, he's discovered the joy of play, particularly with tug toys and anything he can shake around. A fully fenced yard is essential, ensuring he stays safe and secure in his surroundings. Romeo, an older soul, seeks a forever home where he can age gracefully.

BEHAVIOURAL NOTES:
Separation Anxiety
Romeo is a bit more cautious of men and can show signs of fear based aggression. However with patience and time he will warm up and win over his trust. Slow introduction and letting Romeo take time to feel comfortable and giving him space will help him settle.
Will require high fencing with no gaps underneath where he can possibly escape
