Pickles

Pickles is an absolute cuddle monster who loves playing with her toys and winning hearts in the neighbourhood. Whenever she encounters people on her walks she sits down and waits for them to come over and give her pats – it works every time! No one can resist her loving eyes or furrowed brow. She loves being around people and is always excited to interact with strangers.

Pickles is a very observant pup who has been calm and curious when interacting with the many wonders of the outside world. She loves going on walks to explore the neighbourhood and then crashing out on the couch or in her crate where she sleeps each night. She is incredibly affectionate and comes over for pats and cuddles in your lap whenever she is given the chance. She can’t get enough head and belly rubs, kisses and cuddles.

Pickles is a quick learner so it hasn’t taken long for her to get in the habit of doing her business outside, especially because she can’t get enough of her special reward treats. At the moment she is learning to sit on command and is making excellent progress. Pickles loves playing fetch and has been bringing back the ball. She is a very clever pup who is learning something new each and every day, and isn't afraid to try new things.

MY IDEAL HOME: It would be great to have an outdoor area to play in with a family around more often than not or another dog friend to keep her company whilst the humans are out at work. Ongoing training is always important so a family that can take me to puppy school and keep me both mentally and physically exercised ongoing is a must.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Pickles adores naps galore and is dead to the world a lot of the time. When she is awake, she is friendly, likes to be around people and will often follow you around the house. In her really active moments she loves to run during walks, will zoom around the house and is ravenous for her toys! As she grows she will need a good daily walk / adventure to keep her social, active and happy.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Pickles has only had the chance to interact with a couple of children so far but she has been calm and peaceful. When playing at home she can be quite excitable and requires redirection to her toys so dog savvy kids who can disengage when she turns into a land shark is a must.

MY SUITABILITY TO DOGS AND CATS: Whilst she hasn't had too much exposure to other animals, her generally cool vibe and brief encounters have all been plesant and she would suit a home with another friendly dog or a dog savvy cat.
