About Jack
We are delighted to formally introduce you to young Jack who is looking for his forever home.
This baby boy had his first birthday on Christmas day and is possibly the handsomest border collie we ever did see.
He is full of the usual border collie character, fun, energy, smarts and good nature.
He is also an absolute love bug and just adores everyone he meets – he is a total charmer with his million-dollar smile and friendly personality.
Jack would love a busy and active home with a good-sized yard where he can run and play.
He adores toys – all the toys- and he can entertain himself for quite some time but he much prefers to play “chase me, chase you”, fetch the ball and tug o war.
Company is a big thing for Jack – he is such a loyal and loving dog.
He is a smart as anything and is very food/treat driven so he is a breeze to train.
He is a bit of a shoe stealer and can chew things he shouldn’t if left along and bored but nothing a normal puppy wouldn’t do.
He sleeps well through the night, is a gentle and placid boy around the home, and is just an all-around superstar.
A young active family or an active single / couple would be just perfect for Jack – we guarantee this boy will fill a hole you may never even know you have in your life.
Best Friend material by the bucketload.
Jack is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and up to date with his flea/ tick and worm treatments.
He is in foster care at Kallangur North Brisbane and his adoption fee is $595

At The Mini Rescue, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
