Vera is a beautiful young cat with a soft, expressive gaze and a heart full of quiet strength. Her journey began in the most heartbreaking way — abandoned in a crate outside a business on a scorching summer day, weak and barely clinging to life. But with care and kindness, Vera pulled through, and now she’s ready to find the loving home she truly deserves.
Vera is a sweet girl, but understandably timid after such a rough start. She’s not one to demand attention, preferring a calm, gentle presence. With patience and love, Vera will blossom at her own pace — and when she does, you’ll see just how special she is.
She would thrive in a peaceful indoor home where she can feel safe and slowly build trust. Vera isn’t looking for much — just a soft place to land, a quiet corner to call her own, and someone willing to give her the time and compassion she needs to feel secure.

Adoption details
At Brighter Future Cat Rescue we adopt to indoor homes only or homes with suitable cat runs. All our cats and kittens have meet and greets. A 2 week trial period is given to ensure that they are ideal for your situation and lifestyle. All our cats come desexed, microchipped, first vaccination and their worming and flea treatment are up to date. We rescue our cats off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of the perils of modern day society.
