About Woody - Located in Preston
Howdy, folks! I'm Woody, the charming feline cowboy ready to lasso your heart. You see, I've got a love for cheek scratches that runs deeper than the Grand Canyon. Scratch my cheeks, and I'll roll over, making biscuits like there's no tomorrow. It's the kind of cozy comfort that makes me purr with delight.
Now, let me tell ya, I'm a sweet boy with a taste for the quiet life. I've met some energetic kittens, and let's just say their hustle and bustle were a tad too much for this cowboy. I prefer the tranquility of a home where I can kick back, relax, and enjoy the simple pleasures.
Playing and chasing a ball down the hallway? Well, partner, that's my idea of a rootin' tootin' good time. I've got a knack for turning the everyday into an adventure, especially if it involves a ball and a bit of catnip.
I reckon I'd do just fine with an older resident cat, as long as they're not too rowdy. But truth be told, I'd be over the moon in a home where I'm the sole recipient of those heavenly cheek scratches. No need to share the spotlight when you've got a cowboy like me around.
So, what do you say? Ready to round up this rootin' tootin' cat and make some Toy Story magic together? I promise, with Woody in your corner, every day will be an adventure worth yee-hawin' about! 🤠🐾

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
