About Tala
Tala is a really beautiful dog – both inside and out. She has a very affectionate nature and is a sweet, gentle girl. Your heart just melts when she leans into you with her head for a hug. Tala is a social dog who will happily approach new people she meets, both adults and children, in search of some pats. She loves nothing more than getting some cuddle time with her humans. This girl’s face lights up with a big smile when she is happy. Tala thoroughly enjoys having a fun game with some toys or a ball which she likes having thrown around for her in a game of fetch.
Tala is currently living with a kelpie whom she gets along well with. She has also been going to the local dog park and has been good with all of the dogs she has met. Being a working breed type, she does require an owner committed to meeting her needs. This will involve daily walks, regular outings to fun places to explore, and some playtime in the yard. However, she is generally a very relaxed dog around the home and will happily nap by your feet while you’re working or watching TV.
As you would expect, Tala is a smart girl who picks up on training easily. She can already sit and stay. Tala is eager to learn new tricks or commands and is food motivated; however, she is just as happy to please you and be told what a good girl she is. She walks nicely on a lead after some initial excitement and her recall is improving every day. It would be ideal for her new owners to keep up some training with her to provide some mental stimulation and it will deepen the bond between dog and owner. In the home, Tala is toilet trained and sleeps on her own bed inside. She also travels well in the car and would love to be able to join in on adventures or day to day outings.
We are looking for a dog savvy home for Tala where she will be included as part of the family. She can live with another friendly dog who won’t be jealous of how much affection she likes to get, or she is fine to be an only dog if her owners are home more often than not. Tala should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. A home with dog savvy kids would be suitable. Tala has not met other types of pets, but she is quite a smart girl so may be able to live with others harmoniously with the appropriate training and guidance from more experienced owners. This wonderful dog will make a fantastic addition to her new home and is bound to bring a lot of love and fun with her.
If you would like to make this beautiful girl a part of your family, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current household members and the type of lifestyle Tala would have with you.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
