About Yarnball - Located in Surrey Hills
Hey there, wonderful humans! I'm Yarnball, the epitome of feline elegance with a coat that rivals the beauty of a Russian Blue. Call me the belle of the ball, the queen of sophistication among my adorable siblings.
Now, let's talk personality. I may be young, but don't let that fool you—I've got a sophisticated demeanor that turns heads. I face every new adventure with the curiosity of a seasoned explorer, and I'm not afraid to take the lead. In fact, I'm the chief toy scout, always on the lookout for new gadgets to entertain not just myself, but my fuzzy siblings too.
When it comes to affection, consider me the purr-fect companion. The moment you scoop me up, the purring symphony begins. I'm always up for a cuddle, and let me tell you, I've mastered the art of making those moments pure bliss.
Growing up in a lively family has made me one brave kitty. I've danced with children of all ages, from tiny tots to the bigger ones, and I've shared the spotlight with large and small dogs, fellow cats, and the bustling sounds of household life. Chaos? Bring it on—I thrive in it!
If you're lucky enough to bring me into your home, get ready for a loyal companion who'll shower you with affection as I weave my way into your heart. I promise to be the best snuggle buddy, playmate, and confidante you could ever wish for. So, are you ready to welcome Yarnball, the fearless fluff, into your family? It's the beginning of a purr-fectly wonderful friendship!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
