About Robert STA011842
Say hello to Robert, a gentleman with discerning taste. At first glance, he may seem a bit reserved due to his cautious nature in new environments. However, once he settles in and feels comfortable, Robert's outgoing and friendly personality shines through.
Robert possesses a charming confidence that is truly captivating. Although cautious initially, once he warms up, he's eager to explore his surroundings and keen to initiate playtime and cuddle sessions.
Robert is an amusing blend of an independent explorer and affectionate companion. He is particularly unique in that he chooses his friends wisely. He has an uncanny knack for quickly discerning who he likes and those who he prefers to keep at claw's length. This selective sociability notionally adds to Robert's endearing allure, making a bond with him even more special.
In essence, Robert is not just a cat, but a character. Once you're in his trusted circle, you will have a buddy for life who will endlessly amuse you with his antics and choices. If you're looking for a companion who's a little out of the ordinary, then Robert could be the perfect fit for your family.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
