Clifford has finally been given the all clear after testing positive to heartworm 5 months ago. As you can see Cliff is a big boy, but he has a loving heart and charm to match his personality. Cliff is super food motivated so anything to do with food, he is there.

Clifford is super dog friendly once he has settled. Initially with entire males he can use stand over tactics to test the situation, but once the air has cleared he will happily play bow and be good mates from then on. Cliff has also interacted with desexed males and females with no issue. Unfortunately Cliff is NOT cat friendly. Even through a door he tries to lunge and bark at the house cat. Even out on walks if he sees a cat he tries to run for it.

It's important for Cliff to have some strong boundaries as he tends to use his size to get away with things. He can be quite puppy like when seeing you after you come home, he sometimes likes to jumps and mouth with excitement. Once told off and to settle down he responds well.

Cliff is children friendly but older children are preferred. As mentioned above, because of his excitement he can sometimes be rough, and doesn't realise his size with little ones.

Currently Cliff is being walked on a head halti and would suggest he remains on one, as he can pull quite hard on walks if something grabs his attention. Clifford is crate trained and quite often lays in his crate when he wants a nap.

This big boy is finally ready to find a home of his own.

Clifford is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
