About Toby
**Needs a calm but confident similar sized dog to help him come out of his shell.
**Owner needs to be home often and completely dedicated to working with a timid dog.
**Gentle, beautiful boy but has had very little basic training. Will run and hide if he doesn’t want to do something.
**No apartments, he’s a big dog and needs room to run!
Welcome Toby, a bundle of pure sweetness. Toby's timid nature makes him unique and appealing. Although he can be a little shy at first, give him some time, show a bit of patience, and his incredibly sweet disposition will win you over.
In his foster home, Toby is learning to trust and open up, and he's showing remarkable progress. He's not fully trained on the lead just yet, but with a quiet home environment and a patient, loving owner, he's poised to continue making great strides in this area.
Toby is seeking a new family with a friendly, goofy dog companion. He loves other dogs, particularly those who can help him come out of his shell. A confident doggie friend in the house would be the perfect match to show him the ropes. His sense of play is increasing daily now that he's starting to trust again, and he would love a cheerful companion with whom he could tumble and play.
Toby may veer on the side of shy, but don't let it fool you; this little charmer has a lot of love to give and craves some tender loving care. With a patient and understanding family, he'll transform from a timid pooch into a confident, cuddly family pet.
If you have some extra love to offer up and extra room on the couch for a most-deserving dog, consider Toby. He'll win your heart faster than you can toss his favourite ball. Embrace the journey with Toby for an incredibly rewarding companionship!
