Lucy Grey is a sweet, shy little girl who is still learning all about the world! She has had a rough start to life and has sadly missed out on some early life guidance. She is looking for a calm, patient owner who is willing to go slowly and help her learn all about the world in her own time. Lucy Grey is quite worried and overwhelmed in the shelter environment and can be easily spooked.
Lucy Grey is highly food motivated and very scent driven. Providing snuffle mats and other food enrichment will help her continue to build confidence. She hasn't been walked on a lead before so her new owner will need to continue the lead training she has started in the shelter. Lucy Grey would appreciate a
crate/den area to give her a safe space to retreat to if feeling overwhelmed.
She has shown interest in toys but is not yet brave enough to play with them! She will paw at a rolling tennis ball.
Lucy Grey could live in a home with older children who she would like to meet at time of adoption. If you have an existing dog they will need to meet too.
