About Madden
*In foster care in Drummoyne, Sydney*
Marvellous Madden is a human- and cat-loving kitten brimming with the joys of life!
Confident and self-assured, she isn't a fan of being carried, and she rarely initiates lap sits - but she does enjoy snuggling right against her humans' legs :) Her foster carers think she's a great candidate for harness training and getting comfortable with car rides, as she's shown to adapt quickly to new experiences while in their care.
Like most kitties, Madden does needs a little bit of time and space to warm up to new places and people. But it doesn't take long and she gets VERY purry when she's touched by a familiar person! It's not unusual for her to purr for over an hour when this happens :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Madden is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with someone who's home more often than not. If that's not you, do you have another cat for me to hang out with? - because that'd be almost as good!
I do hope that my new human/s will set aside time for daily affection and play. I adore being brushed, and you'll be pleased to know that I respect the furniture and sleep happily through the night :) Oh, and I'll fall asleep anywhere - on the floor, on a scratch board, in a tunnel, or sometimes even a bed!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, I'd say. I definitely thrive when my foster carers give me long stretches of regular playtime - it makes me SO happy! Wand toys and rattly balls are especially hard for me to resist :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: While I've not met any kids at this stage, I think my confident nature is well-suited to family life. I'm not nibbly, I enjoy gentle handling and I LOVE lots of interactive play!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I currently live with a number of resident and foster cats, and that's been very pleasant!
Not sure about dogs as I haven't met any of those yet.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
