About Nellie
Introducing Nellie!
Nellie is an American Staffy x born approx 12th June 2022.
Nellie was brought in to us as an unmicrochipped stray & unfortunately no one came looking for her. Nellie is an absolutely beautiful girl who loves everyone she meets. She's a chunky slug who LOVES having her belly rubbed, so she spends half of her time on her back just waiting. We believe she's had some training because when you call her she comes back straight away, sits directly at your feet & looks right at you as if waiting for direction.
Even though she is a bigger girl, as she is a Staffy she believes she is a lap dog & will need an owner who is willing to give her the cuddles & attention she deserves.
Nellie tested well with other dogs & cats. She would be suitable to live with others, or be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Nellie is untested with pocket pets at this time.
Nellie has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety while being at the facility.
Nellie would thrive in a home where she is included as a part of the family & where she can continue her training which she clearly enjoys.
Nellie's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing and lifetime registration.
Nellie has been treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Nellie, please call 0499 900 272 or email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Nellie is looking forward to meeting you and he is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
