About Jamu
Jamu is a beautifully confident, social and independent pup. She loves humans, is a great swimmer and is very fun outgoing. She will develop a strong connection with her handler and like a lot dogs of similar breed, she will be easy to train.
Jamu has been living with a trainer for the past few weeks where she has been learning new skills and getting to socialise with well balanced dogs who are showing her the ways of the world. She has that spark and a bit of sass that people who know and love working breeds tend to be drawn to and is growing up to be a fabulous dog!
Her striking colours are sure to have everyone remark at how stunning she is and we're proud to say that her personality is just as on point!
MY IDEAL HOME: Jamu is looking for an active family that have some experience with working breed dogs, she is very much a herder and needs humans are a happy to continue to engage in continued training and let her have an outlet for her strong desire to work!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Jamu is a high energy and high drive pup and she will require a lot of physical and mental exercise on a daily basis. She is not suited to just a walk around the block or a trip to the dog park, this girl needs activities that will give her big beautiful brain a workout, not just her legs.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Jamu is very social and loves meeting people of all ages and sizes. Given the right guidance, she would do well with a family who have young children.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Jamu is also very social with other dogs. In her foster home she lives with two older dogs and has had a lot of exposure to strange dogs. She hasn't met cats but given the right guidance there is no reason she couldn't live with one.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
