About Micky
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A home where people are home more often than not
OR
- A doggie companion
- Children over the age of 10
Mickey is a beautiful boy who is highly affectionate towards his humans and loves nothing more than a cuddle! He's very food orientated and smart so he is very easy to train. He learnt to “drop” in only two days, what a clever boy!
He’s fantastic on leash and rarely pulls, however is still learning how to stop. He's a very energetic dog, who loves to play with toys (especially if it’s got a squeaker in it!). He’s been friendly towards everyone and every dog he’s met so far, however can be a bit unsure with larger crows. He can jump into the back of a car, and he will lie down for the whole trip and not make a sound.
Mickey prefers to have company at home, so he will be best suited to a home where he has someone that will be there with him more often than not. Mickey will suit a home with another dog, however will also suit being a solo dog just fine.
Mickey is very energetic and playful, therefore he prefers being in a home with children over the age of 10. We hope Micky finds the wonderful home he deserves where all of the love and affection he gives is given back to him! He will be a perfect addition to any family looking for an affectionate companion.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
