Poppy is a Standard Poodle but she's on the smaller side of this usually large breed. She's a very loving, friendly dog who thrives on being a big part of her owner's life. She will form a strong bond with her owner and want that person to be around most of the time, so won't suit full time workers. Poppy would be a great addition for active retirees or a stay at home worker. Her carers have grandchildren visit regularly and she enjoys playing with them. She's also good with other dogs.

Poppy enjoys her daily walks, and also has her sea legs; she likes her trips on her carers' boat. Pretty much anywhere her people are, Poppy is okay to be.

Poppy likes to let you know when you have visitors and will bark at people coming to the door, however she does settle when asked.

Poppy will make a great best friend for someone, or a lovely family dog if she knows she will always be included and doted on.

Poppy is an inside dog who won't do well shut outside away from her people. She's toilet trained.

Her coat will need regular trimming and grooming.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
