Andre

Andre is a strikingly handsome young man who turns heads wherever he goes! He has not had the best start to life and as a result he does take some time to warm up to people, preferring to keep his distance and do his own thing until he knows he is safe, then he will happily come up for pats. He finds so much joy in playing with other dogs and interacts well with dogs of all sizes!. He has also tested very well with horses and we suspect would do fine with other animals/livestock. He has lived with a cat previously but was too fixated on her and needed to be kept separated.

Andre loves to play with his toys and to chase after a ball. He is a dream to walk but would do best away from inner-city suburbs as he is frightened of strangers and will try to make a wide berth when walking past them. He is gaining in confidence every day though and making big improvements. An adult couple who can spoil him would be ideal! Andre is fine to be alone during work hours and displays no separation anxiety. Andre is crate trained and sleeps in his XL crate overnight, and often chooses to sleep in there some times during the day.
