About Daisy - 5 Year Old Miniature Dachshund (Trial)
If you’re looking for the perfect companion to love, take on walks and cuddle with on the couch then Daisy is the sweet little sausage for you!
She loves her walks and is always ready to go when you are. She walks extremely well on the lead, always turning back to check you’re still there with her long tongue hanging out. She also travels great in the car.
Daisy is friendly and curious when meeting other dogs out and about although she would be better suited at home as an only dog as she wasn’t getting along with her former home’s other dog.
Daisy has some anxiety when in new environments and can be shy meeting new people. But once she has had time to familiaise, she does become comfortable.
She loves to be around her people and will fret when left alone, so someone retired or working from home would be best suited. She has made great progress since coming into care and if living in a calm environment, we have no doubt she will continue to come into her own. We believe a home with children over 12 will help Daisy to continue improving.
In return for your patience, you will be filled with the endless love and cuddles she has to give. She is sweet and gentle with a playful streak that makes her all the more adorable. She sleep in her own bed through the night in her carers room and is fully house trained using a doggy door. Daisy also isn’t your typical alarm system dachshund, rarely barking at home or out in public.
The more Daisy settles into her foster home, the more her carers are seeing the beautiful nature in her. We know with the right person, Daisy will make an incredible addition to someone’s life.
