About Tammy
Tammy is a 5 year old female working kelpie. Tammy has continued on with her livestock career since being in care and is ready to move on to a new working home.
Mainly a yard dog, she is able to fill a race with ease, does prefer to work the side of the race but will back if needed. She works great in a team in the paddock. She is conscious of her stock and does not over work them.
Tammy would suit a handler who is calm in their working approach. She responds to a mix of verbal and whistle commands. She has worked sheep only and has not been used of cattle or goats while in care.
Tammy would be a great asset to any livestock owner. She is easy to handle and gets along well with other dogs in the camp.
If you think Tammy sounds like the girl for you, please send in an application today!
Tammy is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
