NAME: Rocky

BEFORE RESCUE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the pound.

PERSONALITY: Playful, smoochy and extremely cute! He’s a little shy around men but is slowly starting to come round and continued exposure will make it easier.

FAVOURITE THINGS: Playtime! Rocky loves to play with pretty much anything that moves. He loves smooches and will sit for hours lapping up attention and affection.

ENDEARING FEATURES: He has a gorgeous personality and a ton of love to give!

OTHER ANIMALS/INFORMATION: Rocky gets on well with other cats but can be quite a dominant personality so would need a confident cat who will teach him some manners. He would be fine to live with a cat-savvy dog after gentle supervised introductions.

He is a bit of a fussy eater and prefers to have fresh mince or cooked chicken over canned cat food. He does eat cat biscuits with no issues.

ESSENTIALS for Rocky:

** A loving home where he’s given time initially to settle in and get comfortable, then gets plenty of attention but is treated gently. He would go well with cat-savvy, gentle children who will play and engage with him on a daily basis.

** Rocky needs to be kept as an inside only cat or have access to a secure outside cat run.

ADOPTION FEE – $385

Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

ADOPTION DETAILS

After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet’s microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
