About Keke - 5 Year Old Cavalier King Charles (Trial)
Introducing Keke a 5 year old, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
A gorgeous girl with big brown eyes to melt your heart! Keke is very affectionate with a big "smile". Her foster carer has given her an extra name “Velvet" - because her fur feels soft like velvet. Keke enjoys her daily walks, she’s been put on a balanced diet to reduce her weight and is responding to it well. She will need a family who is committed and willing to keep up with this.
She loves nothing more than getting out with her foster siblings, exploring new places, smells and saying “hello“ to everyone. She walks wonderfully on the lead, she’s a sociable girl. Before coming in to care she lived with an elderly lady who she adored but unfortunately she passed away. Keke is wonderful with all people even kids but we think it would be best if she was in a quieter home because this is what she’s used to, so no young children and someone who is home more often than not. She would really benefit in having a doggy friend around for company, as long as they’re of similar size and age. Keke is not cat friendly.
Keke is fine if you have to go out, as long as it’s not for an extended period of time. Her carer gives Keke and her fur sibling a special “going out” treat and they don’t seem to even notice she’s gone. When returning home, her carer is greeted enthusiastically with tails wagging and happy smiles. She also enjoys snuggling up next to you on the lounge and watching tv.
Keke is perfect house trained and knows how to take herself out via the doggy door. She takes comfort in, sleeping of her foster carer’s bed at night time. She’s a good girl who sleeps quietly there all night until the morning.
She doesn’t have much interest in playing, fetch or playing soft teddies, but she does love doing zoomies around outside. Keke wouldn’t be suitable for apartment living as she loves the yard and running around the back of the garage and up the driveway.
