About Gavin - Located in Preston
Hey there, potential human BFFs! I'm Gavin, the black-and-white wonder kitty here to steal your heart and probably your favorite socks too.
So, picture this: I've got this whole mysterious, reserved vibe going on, like I'm auditioning for a role in a feline detective movie. But don't let that fool you—I'm just plotting my next epic pounce on a feather toy.
Yeah, I might start off a bit shy, but give me a moment, and I'll be your partner in crime for all things playful. Toys are my weakness, folks. Throw one, and you'll see the stealthy ninja side of Gavin in action.
My sweet expression? Oh, it's practically a superpower. It's got that "please play with me" look that's impossible to resist. I've mastered the art of the irresistible gaze, and trust me, it's my secret weapon.
Now, about bonding time—let's call it the "Gavin Gradual Unveiling of Charm" process. Patience is key, my friend. Once I'm feeling the love (and maybe a treat or two), get ready for an avalanche of affection. Lap snuggles, chin scratches, the whole deal.
So, if you're up for some laughs, a touch of mystery, and a lifetime supply of cute, then let's make this adoption thing official. I promise, I'm the missing piece to your cozy home puzzle. Let the adventures begin!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
