About Raya
Little Miss Berry is a young and sensitive lass still learning how great being queen of the house can be.
Berry didn't get to spend much time with people whilst she was a young kitten so she is still learning how great people can be. She has made a lot of progress whilst spending time in foster care, and is now looking for a furever home to continue building her confidence.
Once settled in Berry loves some play time, bird watching and pats from people she trusts. Being picked up is still a concept she is very slowly getting used to.
To set Berry up for success in settling in to her new home she does have a few specific requirements:
An experienced, cat savvy home that has a good understanding of cat behaviour.
A quiet, adult only home is required, with a lot of consistency and routine. A busy house with lots of visitors and children will unfortunately be too much for her.
Having her own safe room to adjust to first is a must, and understanding that this adjusting can take weeks, not days, before she then slowly starts to explore more of her new home.
Berry may benefit from a confident feline companion to help her settle into her new home and show her the ropes.
To learn more about Berry please speak to our fabulous staff at the RSPCA Peninsula Shelter: 5978 9001, or pop into visit during adoption hours.
