About Banana
**** To apply for Banana or Pyjamas please go to our website at www.animalrescue.org.au to complete the adoption enquiry form ****
Banana is nothing short of a delight! Known for her friendly, playful, and sunny disposition, she's a little burst of joy who's ready to bring her zest for life to her new family. Banana came into care with her brother, Pyjamas, and is one of a litter of 6 puppies. We were advised by the pound that they were Border Collie X but we believe they are a real mixture - but hey, SuperMutts are the best !
This clever pup is food-motivated which makes her very trainable and keen to learn new tricks. With her medium energy levels, she would fit right into a family who likes to have some fun but also enjoys plenty of down-time.
Banana adores her daily nap time and has a healthy knack for finding the perfect spot in the house to catch some zzz's. She's also privy to enjoy playtime with her favourite toys, squeaky or otherwise, which can lead to quite a delightful spectacle in the living room!
Our lovely Banana sleeps through the night like a champ, although she appreciates a head-start to the mornings for some puppy brunch.
She's had exposure to other animals during her foster times and has reportedly handled these situations with grace. Her interactions with her doggy foster mates suggests she would thrive in a home with another canine companion to learn from. Banana should do well with children who are gentle and not too rough with her. And, she would probably get along well with cats, making her the perfect multi-pet family addition!
When Banana isn't playing or napping, you're likely to find her relishing the indoors where she enjoys the cozy ambiance. To ensure she satisfies her curiosity and keeps fit, she'll need unhindered access to both the indoors and a secure fenced yard.
Banana's adoption package includes microchip, 2 vaccinations and desexing at about 6 months of age. This desexing is fully covered if attending one of our vets, but if adopted out of area a refund to the amount we would pay our vets would be offered.
Puppy school will be advantageous to her mental and social development. With this training, her adorable personality will bloom even more.
In essence, if you're looking for a friendly, intelligent, and cuddly companion who can match your energy, Banana is just the ticket. She can't wait to bring her vibrant spirit into her new loving home.
