About Tiny
Meet Tiny, a lively 1-year-old male Dachshund who is ready to make a big impact on your life, even if his name implies otherwise. Tiny is a delightful little fellow awaiting an individual or family ready to invest in basic training, love and patience, to expose the diamond that already sparkles within him.
Tiny is yet to discover the joys of walkies; while he does tolerate a collar and lead, he needs a little encouragement to start venturing out on walks. With some patient coaching and positive reinforcement, we believe that this wonder on four legs will soon be a bundle of energy ready for adventures.
Having shown himself to be wonderful with dogs, he tends to be a tad timid around cats, revealing a side that's gentle yet cautious. However, Tiny cherishes his meals and has shown some food aggression towards other dogs. As responsible pet parents, it's necessary to offer Tiny his own space during meal times.
Amidst all this, Tiny has begun to come out of his shell and shows signs of overcoming his anxiety, bit by bit. His resilience is endearing, hinting towards the potential for a loyal and courageous partner in your family.
Overall, he needs a home environments rich with understanding, consistent training, and respectful pet interactions. With nurturing love and time, Tiny will surely bloom into a loyal, loving canine who will enrich his new family's life with joy and affection. His size may be small, but his heart is enormous, and he's eagerly waiting to share all his love with you.
Now, let's talk about an adorable deal-breaker: Tiny comes with an inseparable friend, Sheldon. These two have formed a deep bond, and are looking to be rehomed together. Their playful antics and shared quiet moments are sure to fill your home with love and laughs.
So if you’re looking for a delightful duo who’ll provide endless warmth, laughter, and companionship, Tiny and Sheldon could be a perfect match. This pair is ready to find a family who will love having them around, and in return, they'll add that extra sparkle to your life.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
