About Scott STA011987
Meet Scott! Recognized for his good looks, this handsome lad is a timid soul that melts hearts. A bit apprehensive towards new people and environments, Scott requires some time to warm up. But once you get to know him, you'll discover that he's not just about looks - he's also incredibly sweet!
A bit on the shy side, Scott is a quiet young guy. He could appear reserved initially, but with a little patience and understanding, you'll feel rewarded when he greets you with his gentle purring and affectionate behavior.
Scott's pleasures are simple: good food and a calm environment. He has a penchant for tasty meals and will happily look forward to his feeding times.
Scott desires a peaceful and quiet home, devoid of the hustle and bustle of children or dogs. He envisages his forever human family being relaxed and understanding individuals who can provide him with the exact kind of environment he desires.
Given that Scott is FIV+, he needs to be kept indoors to guarantee other cats' safety in the vicinity.
Combine Scott's handsome looks with his sweet, quiet demeanor, and you've got an amiable feline family member who would make a wonderful addition to any quiet and understanding household ready to extend him the love and care he deserves.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
