About Nicki
Our Nicki is a bright white and brindle young girl. She shows great curiosity and loves to be a part of everything happening in her world. She loves her daily adventures and walks well on lead. She delights in meeting neighbours and admirers on her walks and isn’t phased by a busy street.
In her forster home, Nicki enthusiastically plays with toys to entertain herself and her humans. She will play fetch with her toys too. Nicki will seek out cuddles and pats from her humans and makes sure they know she is always available for company. In the company of her humans, Nicki will chill and relax, happy to roach on her bed in the living room. Bliss
Nicki is comfortable meeting new dogs and would be very happy to share a home with a suitable hound. Nicki would also be happy to be part of a busy family for lots of company. She is not a fan of staying home alone for long periods though. Nicki could manage a home with a dog walker or other carers to ensure she isn’t home alone for too long.
Nicki is toilet trained and can do stairs. She sleeps on her own bed in the family living room.
Nicki is a bright and engaging girl, ready to be a vital part of her forever home.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
