About Kit Kat
Meet Kit Kat - The Snoring Queen!
A note from her adoring Foster Carer:
She has come a long way since she came to us. She has become accustomed to the general movement and sound of humans. Quite frequently she will follow you down the hallway, until she decides she's had enough of following you and will happily do her own thing. She rarely gets frightened by general noises now.
She isn't a lap cat like mine, it's clearly on her own terms. However, she will throughout the day approach you if you're sitting on the couch or in bed, and shower you with affection (head butts and purrs), whilst tolerating some back rubs for a good 5 minutes. Then she'll sit near you for a while, then wander off. She's particularly affectionate in the mornings and evening.
As you'd be aware, she has the most petite and feminine meow I've ever heard which just adds adorableness to her character.
She clearly still has kitten energy, requiring me to spend time playing with her, so she can burn off some of that energy. She loves playing in the tunnels, and loves toys that make crinkle sounds. The wand has been a fantastic toy as well.
Kit Kat is in foster with 2 resident cats. She will have periods where she will interact, chase and play safely with her foster brother, however she does remain distant most of the time from the resident cats.
Kit Kat would have no issues being in an only pet environment, and I feel her true personality and affection would flourish and grow, and her adoptees would gain the full benefit from her. Maybe with time being around another cat she'd also learn to adapt, feel safe, and be able to form a bond with them. But it will need to be a slow introduction to the other animals.
