About Dane
Hi, I’m Dane.
I’m a friendly kitten who would be suitable for most homes. I’m pretty easy-going. I am affectionate to my humans, and don't mind being picked up and cuddled so I would be happy to meet children that are living in the household.
I dream of a home with a cat tower I can climb, and lots of windows that I can sunbathe under. I hope there’s lots of toys to play with in my new home!
Just like all kittens, I should be fed multiple times a day to ensure I grow big and strong. I’m also already litter trained, but it’s best to teach me again when we get home.
If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure we have a slow introduction to give us the best chance at getting along.
Do you have the space for a playful bundle of joy like me?
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
