About Bluey
Meet Bluey, a pocket-sized 4-year-old cattle dog x koolie who is without a doubt the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.
Bluey’s favourite hobby is fetch – the moment her favourite toy comes out, so does her cheeky nature. She’ll bring back whatever you throw with the biggest smile on her face.
She loves to be included in all the family’s adventures, especially if they mean riding in the back of the ute and going for a swim!
Being past the crazy puppy and teenage years, Bluey has a great off-switch, and loves to snooze away while her foster carer works from home.
Bluey gets on well with other dogs, though she prefers gentler dogs. She would suit a home with another easy-going dog or she could be a single dog as long as she’s included in her family’s daily life.
Having never been off the farm before coming into care, Bluey takes a little while to feel safe in new environments and around new people. She would prefer to live in a rural or quiet suburban area – city life might be too overwhelming.
Bluey is looking for active humans who will allow her inside as part of the family, give her all the cuddles and include her in all their adventures. She’s previously lived happily with kids, but is not suited to living with cats or free-range chickens, which she will chase.
If you think you are a good match for Bluey, send us details about the life you can provide her.
Bluey is located in the ACT.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
