About Juniper
Juniper has taken to pet life instantly. This elegant blue girl has a love of life and enjoys being a part of everything you are up to.
Juni has fit in perfectly in her foster home with a similar aged male greyhound. They enjoy their walks and play time together but are just as happy doing their own thing. Juniper has enjoyed welcoming visiting dogs into her home and been very good meeting all dogs on her walks.
Juniper is perfectly toilet trained, sleeps soundly on her own bed in the human bedroom overnight. On weekends she may give you a sweet nudge to let you know the sun’s up but happy to head back to her bed until you decide to get up.
Juni is learning to walk better on lead. She is still such a busy body. Juni is determined to investigate any open gate or doorway as there may be an adventure in there. Juni will seek out any friendly neighbour to say hello to and have a cuddle. Juniper is an expert passenger. She loves the car and the adventures it may take her to, whether that is a farmers market or a playdate. She athletically jumps in to the car too.
Juniper is untested being home alone but has been very content at home with her foster brother for up to ten hours while her foster carer is at work. She has access to the yard for a wee through the doggy door.
Juni loves her toys and delights in “borrowing” household items that may appear in unexpected places in the home. Nothing is damaged, just relocated.
Juniper is a versatile girl suitable to many homes provided she is given at least two walks a day and a full social calendar.

No full time workers unless some working from home or there is another dog

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
