Medical notes
Oscar has a heart murmur. This simply means that there is an abnormal sound to the
heart when listening to her chest with a stethoscope. Heart murmurs can be
benign/physiological meaning they are of no concern and the animal may grow out of it or it may only be heard intermittently for various reasons.
However, heart murmurs can also be pathological indicating disease of the heart.
Oscars heart murmur has been no indication of his development or impact to his health. The vets have desexed Oscar and he is not on any medication.
If adopting a cat with a heart murmur, please have the cat vet checked every 6-12 months for their wellbeing.

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
