About Amanda
Little Amanda had a rough start to life losing her left eye due to severe cat flu. She recovered swiftly and quickly became the most playful and charming little girl!
Amanda is the perfect companion wanting to cuddle throughout the day while also being beautifully independent. She is used to being alone at home during the workday.
Amanda LOVES playing and being cheeky with her cat friends. She is great at grooming herself and keeping herself occupied too. She is a curious girl who loves a big snuggle and cuddle. She loves her food and any toy is a good toy!
She is a gorgeous brown long haired tabby with the cutest tufts between her toes.
She is great with other cats, she has been tested with dogs and birds also and did well. Litter box trained and sleeps through the night. She is a special needs cat but only in the sense that she will require an owner that will be attentive to her behaviours.
Medical notes
Amanda will be fully vaccinated from the 22nd of December and is up to date with comprehensive parasite control.
Amanda will be desexed week starting 18th Dec and will be available for adoption one week after that.
Amanda will do best in a household with another cat she can learn how to be a cat from. She likes playing and cuddling with her foster friends.
PLEASE NOTE:
Amanda has a grade 3/6 heart murmur. Her veterinary team will provide a letter for adopters on what this means and what she requires. She has been given an otherwise clean bill of health and there is no current reason for why she should not live a long and happy healthy life! She might still grow out of the murmur but is too young for this to yet be evident.
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
