Meet the incredible Tairn!!
This boy is the rarest of breeds, a Staffy Cross! We don’t come across these often. And when we do we need to snap them up- because they make the very best of companions.

Tairn is uniquely part Kangaroo, Pancake and possibly Cow. He is quite literally the spring in anyone’s life. He is boisterous yet gentle, playful but not nippy. He came into care being taught little to no boundaries, but within hours he nailed some of the basics and everyday more could be added. This guy WANTS to learn, he is hugely food driven, making training that bit easier.

He is learning & quickly mastering:

Sitting before coming in the door
Sitting for food
No couch
On your bed
Down
Gentle

He is great being left at home- walking out the door he will tell you how much he will miss you- but he settles quickly realising he actually enjoys the quiet too. White noise is his favourite, sitting around 500hz is perfect- and it lets his mind and body pancake while you’re out.

Kongs, lick mats and mental stimulation will be a must for this guy. Access to inside outside is a bonus - grass too because like I said, Cow (and apparently rolling is the best thing EVER).

Tairn LOVES other dogs, he would benefit from a firm playmate- not submissive. Or he would be fine as an only dog, if you’re willing to provide the human and dog alike friendships for him.

Absolutely not one sign of aggression shown in care, he happily shares and is a kind brother to fur & human friends of all ages (if you are not a cat you’re safe).

This guy has stolen his carers heart, and we are in search of a unicorn to match the love & boundaries he gets in care.
