About Bailey
Introducing the very handsome young Bailey!
BACKGROUND
A member of the public brought Bailey into a vet clinic where he was treated for minor injuries after being hit by a car. He is 100% fine and healthy now .✅️
Bailey's microchip details were never up to date so finding the owners was very difficult. Once the owners were located, they felt it was in Bailey's best interest for him to be surrendered, as they couldn't offer him the life he deserved. (Bailey had spent the last year of his life confined 💔to a bedroom in a sharehouse).
🥲😍Bailey is one in a million. He settled in so quickly into his foster home. He is an affectionate boy but just the right amount, not too little and not too much. He also gives the best hugs 🫂 you could ever wish for from a cat. I have never met a cat that hugs you the way he does!
Bailey loves his humans, but is not insecure. He is completely fine when you go to work and will usually find a nice spot to curl up on and take a nap for most of the day. When you come home though, he will flop near the front door for cuddles and shows his appreciation for you being home.
He occasionally gets zoomies and plays with a toy if you encourage him. He's more happy to just chill/sleep with his humans. Bailey is not a vocal boy. You might get a meow out of him when he sees you putting his wet food pouch in his bowl for dinner (Dinner 🍽 is his favorite time of the day!)
Bailey's purring on the other hand is next level! 😅😆When he is very content and getting chin tickles/cuddles, you will experience his magical purr. Bailey also has the softed coat you have ever felt. It's just beautiful! Bailey loves his supervised outside time.
⭐️He has taken to a harness and lead like a champion. If Bailey's new home had a secure outdoor area, he would love it even more! He has always used his kitty litter and never scratched any furniture (he only scratches his cat pole like a good boy). Bailey is honestly such an amazing cat. If you are looking for a companion that is secure and not overly needy but is also cuddly and affectionate, then this is the perfect cat for you.!
⚠️‼️It is important that Bailey’s new home doesn't have any other cats. He gets extremely distressed by other cats. Dogs however, he is very curious. So a gentle doggy sibling may be fine.
Bailey also doesn't like overly loud noises. You will find him underneath the bed while you are carrying out the vacuuming. Once done though, he will come on out like nothing's happened.
Since being in foster care, he reacts less and less to the vacuum. Please come and meet this amazing boy. He would love to say hello!
