✨🐣 EASTER ADOPTION FEE SPECIAL 🐣✨
🪷☂️ MEET TAIMA ☂️🪷
Nature
Hi! I am Taima, which means "loud thunder" and that's how my Foster Mum described me the first night we met. I just rolled on into my new foster home like a gorgeous little storm singing my favourite cat tunes at the top of my voice. I love to sing so much I will also try to echo you if you sing back to me.
My Foster Mum describes me as a chatty, laid back, sweet girl who just loves attention and pats. I don't mind being picked up for a cuddle, and I prefer pats over being smothered in kisses, which Foster Mum completely ignores, so I indulge her for a minute.
I love to roll around showing off my beautiful belly and even enjoy having it tickled and rubbed. I'm still getting used to humans I don't know, but once I am comfortable, I will follow you around to have a chat or figure-eight around your legs.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I grew up in a house with lots of other cats so I do like the company of a fur-friend, but I would also be happy if my new human just wanted me for themselves and spent lots of time with me.
Ideally, I would really like a fur-friend though! If you already have other pets, I think I would be good with any type of fur-friend, if they love cats and slow introductions are done. I don’t like the resident grumpy cats in my foster home as she growls and hisses at me, so I try to give her a bop on the nose to say 'chill'!
Otherwise, if you are considering more than one cat, can I introduce you to my housemate and best buddy, Missy, the mini black panther, who is also up for adoption, just look for her profile. We met in foster care and hit it off immediately we love to hang out, play and even groom each other.
I haven't met any little people in my foster home, I think the smaller ones might be a bit overwhelming, but I think nice calmer older ones would be OK, maybe 5 years plus.
Likes / Dislikes
I'm a great eater! I like to have some wet food morning and night and some biscuits 24/7 just to snack on if I get hungry. Foster Mum says I’m not fussy and just happy to have some good quality wet food and biscuits. I use my litter box like a champ. Again I’m not fussy on what you want to use.
I like to play with just about any cat toy soft toys to kick, destroy and bite are great, and I really like chasing balls. My most favourite thing to do is be with my human and just get attention, have chats, sing and rub up against their legs.
Like most cats I do not like sudden loud noises and the big vacuum is a NO but Foster Mum has used a small handheld vacuum near me, and I get a bit shocked at first but it's not as scary as the big noisy one.
My PURR-fect home would be in a nice calm and laid back home where I can get lots of attention and have lots of chats with my person/people. Where my singing will be enjoyed as well as some nice cuddles and lots of pats. If you have a fur-friend for me or want to take Missy too, that would be great, but I will be happy to just be the centre of your world.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
