Meiko

Meiko is a very friendly, happy, healthy Indian Ringneck parakeet. He spends most of his time on his friends' shoulders but will fly back to his cage for food or rest when needed. He is a very clean boy, always grooming his immaculate feathers. Meiko (Japanese for "lost child") was brought in as a stray but, despite every effort, no owner claimed him. We suspect he is about a year old and male, but we can't be certain. Unfortunately, Meiko is terrified of dogs, so he will need to go to a home without dogs. We would love for Meiko to go to a home with experience in caring for parrots.
