About Belle
Name- Belle
Age- 5 months old
Breed- Border collie
Colour- Black and white
Sex- Female- I will be desexed.
Perfect home- Active family who will have time to fill my needs, Exercise daily, training daily as well as lots and lots of cuddles would be my Ideal home!
Animal Preferences-
Cats- Yep! I am fine with cats, I lived with some in my previous home.
Dogs- YES please! I love other dogs and would adore having another dog in my home that I can play with, cuddle with and learn from!
Grooming needs- Because of my medium coat I will need a brush a few times a week!
My new family may include-
Kids who are over the age of 5 years, I have only ever met older kids so I may be a little unsure of the younger kids to begin with BUT I am happy to take things slow and learn along the way with them.
Like I said above I would LOVE another dog in the home!
My personality is-
-Active and playful- I love to have a play with my toys.
-I love to also hang out with you, Follow you around and have the biggest snuggles with you that I can have!. I really am just a love bug.
I am such a sweet heart, however I have never been on lead before! I am slowly learning here at BARC which is going well but being somewhere I little more comfortable will help me learn quicker.
I promise to love you and the family as much as I can for as long as I can! I will always greet you when you come home from work or school and I will do my best to keep the house clean why your away, All I ask for in return is snuggles on the couch and my bowl filled with food.
To book a meet and greet with Belle please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
