About Yoshi
Yoshi is an affectionate dude who loves nothing better than to snug with his humans. He loves to stop and get pats when out for his daily walks, and charms both adults and children alike with his affection nature.
He is a super low key dog who is chill at home and excited to go for a walk but doesn't require a lot of exercise. Yoshi doesn't expect much but deserves the world, he has had a rough start arriving in care with a laundy list of medical conditions but for the most part these are all resolved however his skin is still something that requires some maintenance. Yoshi has been seen by a specialist dermatologist and requires ongoing medication.
Yoshi loves a romp on the beach and just hanging out with his foster bro, an am staff. He can be left at home alone without issue (although always prefers company) but we seriously can not express just how easy going this guy is.
MY IDEAL HOME: Yoshi would love a home where he's allowed inside and out. He would love to be involved with whatever adventure you're going on as he prefers to be with his people rather than left alone. Yoshi would have no problem living in an apartment as he does not bark but would need to be taken for regular walks.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Yoshi is low energy he enjoys snoozing most of the day in the sun. Whilst he does enjoy a potter around the neighbourhood, he is more couch potato than elite athlete.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Yoshi is fine with children of any age as he rarely jumps up. Provided kids can give him some space and be chill like he is, he would happily live with them.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Yoshi is currently in care with a large male dog, he is happy to meet dogs out and about, in fact he pays them little attention. He grew up in a home with a small female pug. He has not met cats.
Medical notes
Yoshi is currently under treatment for his skin at a specialist dermatologist. He will likely need this medication lifelong and the occasional medicated bath and ear maintenance.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
