Bluey our sweet 2 year old Australian cattle dog is now ready to find his forever home

BLUEY:
Bluey is the sweetest natured boy whose favourite thing in the world is pats and snuggles. He has earned himself the nickname piggy, as he makes the cutest little grunting sounds when he’s really enjoying his pats. He loves burying his head into your lap or crook of your arm and will never be the first to pull away from a cuddle.
He’s quite relaxed for a herding breed and isn’t really fussed about toys. His favourite game is running alongside his foster brother as his brother chases a ball. He also loves a good wrestle and would be suited to a home with another dog that enjoys a bit of friendly roughhousing.
He prefers to be outside in the yard but has shown he can be calm and quiet inside, he is learning his bed command quite well and enjoys watching the tv with his foster family at night.
He has a very gentle and timid nature which we believe would be suited to older children as he does occasionally jump up when excited. With a treat and a pat he will instantly become your best buddy and want to follow you all around just to be a part of what you’re doing.
He is trying to learn his on lead manners but the outside world is so new and exciting that he needs reminders to heel. Sniffing every new smell is his favourite way to spend walks.
Teaching commands requires a high value treat like cheese or hot dogs but Bluey has been working hard to learn the basics like his name, recall on lead, sit and stay. He is eager to please and would do well with a family that’s committed to continuing his training.
Bluey will require slow introduction with new dogs due to the fact he gets very very worked up when initially meeting a new dog and will nip at them and bark,
once he is over that initial craziness he has proven to get along well with them and he may not be suitable to a small dog home, due to his working drive and wanting to round them up etc
We have only worked this all out after he has been getting introduced to new dogs/ adopters lately.
