About Blossum
So here we are… Blossom’s dad has passed away, and his unit is being cleared . Foster carer also needed as this would buy us some time.
A bit about this girl:
Loves to swim, is active, loves ball games. Has lived with cats and is cat friendly. She is dog selective, and whilst she won’t lunge at other dogs whilst on her walks, she isn’t keen on having dogs in her face and will tell them off.
A home where she can be the princess and only dog is best suited.
She has some generalised anxiety however, in time, and in a loving home with gentle ways, this girl will shine.
She is used to apartment living and would stay out on balcony when her dad had to go to appointments etc. This is because, like a lot of Staffords, she doesn’t like being left alone so she will chew.
She knows to toilet outside or on balcony area.
A home with teens or just adults is desirable only because she can jump up when excited - she adores people.
An active lifestyle where she can join you on bush walks or for swims would be her ideal.
At the moment she is walked using a long lead to give her autonomy on walks, and she’ll often stop to sniff (we encourage sniffs as this is enriching and calming).
Please, if you are thinking about adding a dog to your family, consider Blossom.
I’ve been walking her on a volunteer basis along with one other person and she truly is a fun dog to be around.
Blossom is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations. Please could you share Blossom with dog loving people in your networks?
It’s a crazy time of year, but you know what? I know if we all rally for this girl, we will find her an excellent home.
Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
