About Millie - 2 Year Old Cavalier (Hold)
Millie is a 2 year old female Cavalier who is looking for a human who shares her need for affection, only snuggle bugs need apply.
Millie is a happy, lovable and curious girl who loves to sniff and patrol the yard and snooze in between. She won't go unnoticed while she is having a nap as her snoring is her give away. We would love to see Millies meals considered in her future home to help reduce the snoring and allow less pressure on her body by continuing to loose a little more weight and live her best life.
Because Millie loves to snack she is fed in her crate so she doesn't bother the other dogs with their meals or the little humans in the house. Not to worry she is very comfortable in her crate and even sleeps in it all night. Being crate trained is a great advantage for Millie as this will support her in her house training. Millie has lived outside only in her former life but because she loves being with people so much she would love someone dedicated to reaching this goal. With the advantage of her young age this increases her chances of learning this task.
Millie loves children but still being a bit of a puppy she is working on not jumping with excitement or not chewing on things left on the floor or in reach. Older tidy, children 10 + would be safer for Millie.
Exercise demands from Millie are not high but she does love to sniff, so a daily stroll would really make her happy. This would also be a training goal for Millie as she has not been for walks in her prior life. She will need someone who is patient and aware of the requirements to introduce Millie to life on the lead in a positive way or a commitment to a formal trainer while she is a young sponge ready to learn.
If you are looking for someone to greet you with lots of love everyday and can help her reach her full potential in her forever home please consider Millie.
Millie has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Millie is in foster care in Salamander Bay NSW. Millies's adoption fee is $700 and will cover desexing, vaccination, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
