Jake

Meet Jake, our delightful young boy with a heart as warm as his wagging tail! Jake has flourished since being rescued, transitioning from a reserved pup at the pound to a joyful, affectionate companion. This charming guy is eager to form a loving connection with a new family who can appreciate his spirit. Jake has been in foster care but sadly his foster carer has had a change in circumstances and is unable to continue to care for him. We would like to see Boo in another home ASAP as he will be returning to the rescue kennels and will be understandably upset losing his family.

Jake is a fast learner and a joy to take on walks, especially when exploring new surroundings. He can be strong on the lead and reactive towards some other dogs, but he is also able to interact well with some dogs, and with continued training and guidance, Boo is bound to become an even more sociable canine friend.

This bright, playful pup is toilet-trained, and while he can sometimes be a bit jumpy, he is also loving and affectionate. He would thrive in a household with older children, where his lively nature can be fully appreciated. Rest assured, you won't have to worry about separation anxiety with Jake, as he can happily stay alone for periods during the day.

Jake's health is in top shape; he's been desexed, vaccinated, and given worm and flea treatments, so he is all set to join your family.
