About Avery
We're thrilled to introduce you to the enchanting Avery—a furry ball of sweetness ready to twirl her way into your heart. Avery is the ideal companion, suited for both first-time cat parents and seasoned feline aficionados.
Avery, with her velvety fur and gentle spirit, is destined for the coziness of indoor living. Picture her basking in the warmth of your love in the serene ambiance of a calm and quiet home.
Avery extends her love to kids aged 6 years and up, making her the purr-fect addition to families seeking a gentle and affectionate feline friend. Reason for this is because of her timidity & affliction to loud & sudden movements.
Avery appears to be interested when seeing another cat & the sight alone kicked her into instant purr-mode. A slow and controlled introduction will surely blossom into a beautiful friendship.
Avery also appears to be open to meet doggy pals, provided they are cat-friendly and calm in nature. Sudden movements can startle her, so introducing her to a dog should be at the discretion of her new owners, again we would encourage a slow & controlled introduction.
Avery carries an energy that's as soothing as a lullaby, making her the ultimate stress-relief partner for those seeking an easy-going pet. Avery's agreeable nature makes her a delightful addition to any social gathering.
Avery's initial shyness melts away to reveal a soft-hearted sweetheart. She loves gentle pats on her back, responding with purrs and an adorable little 'dance' as she lifts her front paws on the spot in delight/
While not a chatterbox, Avery communicates with her presence and soft gestures, adding a harmonious touch to your home.
Not one for toys, but she loves watching feather toys move & dance! She prefers her humans over toys but will curiously watch as a bystander.
While occasionally fussy, Avery will end up eating what's on offer. Her cleanliness shines through as she dutifully uses her litter tray.
Avery is patiently waiting to shower your world with love, warmth, and a sprinkle of kitty magic.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
