About Emerson 11154
Are you ready to welcome a furry friend into your home? Look no further – Emerson is here to steal your heart and bring endless love to your life!
Emerson is an enchanting feline with a personality that shines! Whether you're a seasoned cat owner or new to the world of whiskers, Emerson is the perfect match.
This delightful kitty is best suited to an indoor-only environment but is open to the idea of a cat enclosure or catio, providing her with a taste of the great outdoors in a safe way.
Emerson is a social butterfly who loves the company of people and is open to meet children from 8 years & up. Reason for this is because when Emerson gets a little overstimulated, she can sometimes give little love bites, although they don’t hurt, they might cause a bit of a shock for little ones. Her calm and confident nature make her an ideal companion for families seeking a serene and loving addition to their home. If you have a tranquil and quiet household, Emerson will thrive and shower you with her playful and affectionate spirit.
Emerson prefers to be the soul queen of her new home. She is not suitable to live with or be around other cats or dogs as she shows clear signs of being stressed in their presence.
When it comes to toys, Emerson is still figuring out her favourites, but she's always up for a good play session. While she may lose interest quickly, she's not picky – all toys are fair game! Emerson is not demanding when it comes to food, making mealtime a breeze. Plus, you can count on her impeccable manners as she always uses her litter tray.
Emerson is a cuddle enthusiast who enjoys being picked up and cradled in your arms. Give her cheeks a gentle scratch, and you'll be rewarded with purrs and "biscuits" – a sure sign of contentment. Despite her playful nature, Emerson is not very vocal, allowing for a peaceful coexistence.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to a cat who radiates love, Emerson is the one for you.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
