Meet JoanWilder, she’s very spritely and looking for your love. She was recently surrendered because her owner was unwell and has been in my care since then so that we could learn more about her temperament and quirks. In the short time she’s been in my life she’s proven to be a perfect angel.

She’s crate trained, toilet trained and has had some basic behavioural training. She can selectively listen to orders and follow them very well when she feels like it. Very smart and food motivated, but is entering her naughty dinosaur phase so will require some patience, especially when it comes to walking on the lead and jumping up on people who are not her "master".

Her breed is listed as kelpie X staffy. I suspect she will grow to be around 20kg. She has the energy levels and face of staffy, as well as that sookie demand for your attention. Take her for a walk and she’ll nap for hours on end. Her brains however, are much more from the kelpie side, does benefit from mental stimulation and doing “chores” (she helps me take out the rubbish).

She's currently living in an apartment and is suited to that life, but she does love to run around when she's in the open. As long as she's well exercised she'll do fine in an apartment. She’s incredibly relaxed for a puppy and has been very easy to manage and not yet destroyed any of my property, she’s teething so she does however destroy her toys.

She’s fine with cats (albeit terrified and respectful of them), LOVES children and other dogs but is of a nervous disposition and is still extremely cautious. She isn’t able to work out what toddlers and babies are, but she’s incredibly gentle and would adapt well to these smaller human varieties. Anyone would be very lucky to have JoanWilder in their home. She is sweet natured, smoochie and a total delight to be in the company of.
